**Description** Located on a beautiful 10-acre campus in the heart of Scottsdale, **Devereux Arizona's 24-hour Residential Treatment Center** (RTC) has the capacity to serve 52 children. The RTC is a safe, supportive environment that provides various services to youth, from the ages of 5 to 17, who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, or substance abuse challenges. The Campus features dormitories, a therapeutic K-12 day school, food services, medical/nursing, and therapy services. Reporting to the Clinical Program Manager, the **Activities Assistant (Recreation Technician)** plans and implements structured activities for the RTC. This position will perform a variety of programming, technical, and clerical functions related to recreation. The **Recreation Technician** assists in providing recreation programs and services, including coordinating, implementing, and scheduling programs for various age groups and interests. This position monitors the day to day operations of programs, ensuring that rooms, facilities, equipment, and records of such are appropriately maintained and that supplies are available.
