Extrusion Operator - JPC19

Pay: $15 - 30/hr + Benefits

Industry: Plastic

Schedule: Monday - Friday

We are seeking a Blown Film Extrusion Operator with 5+ years of experience in the blow film industry/machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the extrusion process, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting of blown film extruders. This position requires a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in production while maintaining the 5S program and managing raw materials.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate blown film extruders to ensure smooth production processes.
• Make scheduling adjustments as necessary to optimize production flow.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met on the production line.
• Identify and diagnose production issues with minimal scrap generation.
• Maintain and uphold the 5S program to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Manage raw material inventory and ensure appropriate usage during production.
• Operate the rod line as needed.
• Utilize ERP systems to track production data and manage resources.

Qualifications:

• MUST have 5+ years of experience with blow film industry/machinery.
• MUST have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience setting up and running blown film extruders.
• Strong knowledge of production scheduling, safety, and quality control.
• Experience with ERP systems is required.
• Must be capable of operating the rod line.
