Job Description

Description + Negotiate and replenish products (Meat, Produce, Seafood or Grocery) at competitive market prices, while ensuring accurate delivery + Assist in establishing pricing guidelines and maintaining sales plus gross profit expectations + Generate reports and perform analysis on product selection, sales, pricing, market reports, forecast for promotion and other related data as required + Purchase produce, fruit vegetables, perishables + Handle items with an expiration date + Initiates quote process with suppliers, evaluates supplier bids and participates in price negotiations + Maintains purchase order updating delivery dates, prices or other required supplier information + Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, cost, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories + Executes purchase order cancellations and resolves invoice discrepancies + Places orders for submitted purchase requisitions + Review orders for accuracy, pricing, and delivery + Prepares reports, plans, and updates metrics as required QUALIFICATIONS + High School diploma required + Minimum of 2+ years of procurement/purchasing experience + Food and beverage experience (required) + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (v-lookups/pivot tables experience highly preferred) Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
