School Psychologists Needed in Arizona! Seeking experienced school psychologists interested in working with highly engaged students. The contract follows the academic district calendar - 36 weeks Compensation & Benefits: Weekly Pay: $2,137.50-$2,512.50 Untaxed Per Diems & Travel Stipend for eligible travelers Comprehensive Benefits Package (Health, Dental, Vision, and more) Requirements : Graduate Degree (M.A., Ed.S., M.S. Ed., Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D.) in psychology, social work, or counseling. School Psychologist Certificate in the state of AZ. Must be able to obtain, and hold, a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card. Experience conducting psycho-educational evaluations; experience in school and/or pediatric setting(s) preferred. Must possess strong communication and organizational skills. Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required. Essential Functions: Administers and Interprets assessment information accurately and presents findings/recommendations. Coordinates and participates in benchmarking and progress monitoring. Individual and group counseling. Conducts classroom observations of students to analyze behavior and learning dynamics. Develops short and long-term goals for students assigned for counseling. Provides consultation to teachers and parents on strategies to effect positive changes in the student and his environment. Why choose AB Staffing?
